This sounds like you forgot to apply the small patch to the Net_IMAP
module, as discussed in Ticket #266
<http://www.maiamailguard.com/maia/ticket/266>.  The configtest.php
script should have alerted you to this if you're running PHP 5 and
Net_IMAP 1.0.3.
