It may also be that your message.msg file is not a pristine copy of the
email--it may be that you cut-and-pasted it from a web page and messed
up its formatting in the process, so that it is no longer a plain text file.
It's also possible that the email itself is malformed, or that it
specifies an invalid MIME content-type in one of its attachment headers.
Examining the contents of the message.msg file should probably be your
first step.
As for some sort of global misconfiguration of your MIME settings, first
try testing with some plain text email, and then a plain text email with
a (non-spam) attachment, to see if those parse properly. If not, it may
be that you need to reinstall/update the MIME-tools Perl module and/or
the Mail_Mime PEAR module.
