Incidentally, people should feel free to attach patches to open tickets
(or new ones) themselves--that's part of what the ticket system is for
:)  If your patches aren't perfect as is, just explain the situation in
a comment on the ticket itself and we'll sort it out the next time we
come to deal with that ticket.  You can rest assured that we most likely
won't be able to use your patches without a bit of modification in any
case, but it gives us a starting point that may save us some work :)
