Hi,

  For what it worth, I have fabricated a script that will take a fresh
install of Ubuntu 6.06 LTS 'server' (i.e., a very basic linux install
with no GUI) almost all the way to maia using public repositories.... You
can find a basic 'how-to' install this style of Ubuntu Dapper at:

http://www.dpsims.com/~dpsims/ubuntu_server

Then, you can find a script that will install almost everything Maia needs
using apt-get at:

http://www.dpsims.com/~dpsims/setup_dapper_for_maia_sh.txt

If anyone finds this useful or would like to suggest ways of improving the
process of building a Maia Mailguard appliance on Ubuntu, I would be
interested to know about it....

Thanks,

Dave Sims
