[Maia-users] One more problem - non-local user

Further data - sorry if I missed this earlier:

1) This is a relay box - there are no local accounts. I've set up postfix
with a relay_recipients hash to take care of this, with a transport table to
point to the Exchange box.

Your advice definitely helped. However, sending a new mail (definitely
spammy) to my test user generates this in /var/log/messages:

----------
Apr 3 12:43:38 mx1 httpd: maia: 2007-04-03 12:43:38 (PDT) - Notice -
Undefined index: add_admins at
/usr/local/www/maia-mailguard/themes/ocean_surf/compiled/%%C4^C47^C475F806%%
domainsettings.tpl.php line [327]
Apr 3 12:43:55 mx1 httpd: maia: 2007-04-03 12:43:55 (PDT) - Notice -
Undefined index: add_admins at
/usr/local/www/maia-mailguard/themes/ocean_surf/compiled/%%C4^C47^C475F806%%
domainsettings.tpl.php line [327]
----------

This is accompanied by the following in /var/log/maillog - I've snipped it
to the things that looked relevant, as it was getting spamassassin markup:

----------
Apr 3 12:44:30 mx1 amavis[921]: (00921-02) Maia:
[recipient_can_be_autocreated] Recipient ntop at zetron.com can be auto-created

----------

So, it looks like the user is autocreated, but there are further errors.
Here's the directory listing - permissions seem fairly loose to me:

mx1# ll /var/amavisd/maia/templates
total 8
-rw-r-xr-x 1 vscan vscan 2428 Mar 23 18:19 digest.tpl
-rw-r-xr-x 1 vscan vscan 857 Mar 23 18:19 newuser.tpl
-rw-r-xr-x 1 vscan vscan 812 Mar 23 18:19 reminder.tpl

And, Themes are owned by www:

mx1# ll /usr/local/www/maia-mailguard/themes
total 6
drwxr-xr-x 7 www www 512 Jan 4 22:10 desert_sand
drwxr-xr-x 7 www www 512 Jan 4 22:10 dgm
drwxr-xr-x 6 www www 512 Jan 4 22:10 ocean_surf

Next steps?

Kurt

I am not an expert at this by any means but I think you may want to go to
Admin-->Domains and add "zetron.com" as a local domain then check the
default settings for that domain. You might also check the settings on the
"@." domain to see if spam filtering is on for it. Someone will probably
reply with a better response in a little bit but this may be worth checking
out in the meantime.

I'm using blat from my workstation on a different subnet from the
Maia-Mailguard box to send myself test messages.

I've done all of the default user configurations that I can detect from the
administrative/superuser web interface, but am still not getting my test
account auto-created, and although the mail gets through, it has no
spamassassin markup.

Here's a snippet from /var/log/maillog:

----------
Apr 3 12:05:04 mx1 amavis[923]: (00923-01) Checking: [192.168.24.x]

----------

Can anyone point me to the setting that I'm missing to finish setting up a)
autocreation and b) spamassassin markup? I suspect the two are linked, but
am floundering after having checked out the web interface pretty thoroughly.

Thanks,
