[Maia-users] Invalid recipient still shows "unconfirmed non-spam" etc.

Hi,

I am not sure if this is a Maia Mailguard issue or a Postfix issue...

I have a remote site to which we forward e-mail that comes through our network (and through Postfix/Amavis/Spamassassin/ClamAV, etc.).

Postfix is configured to verify recipients before it tries to send.

I just removed a user from the remote site's e-mail system, yet I still see lots of e-mail going through for him (uncomfirmed non-spam, unconfirmed spam, etc.).

When I try to telnet to the remote SMTP server, and attempt to create a message for this user using RCPT TO:, I get a 550 error message, which is what Postfix should be getting as well.

Any ideas why 1) Postfix would still try to deliver to this site, even if invalid recipients should be rejected, or 2) Maia shows these messages, even if Postfix isn't sending them through?

Any ideas are much appreciated...

Thanks.
