[Maia-users] Maia install issue

Everything seems to have gone according to plan with my install on FreeBSD.
6.1 stable
maia-1.0.1
mysql-4.0.12
php-4.4.4
apache_1.3.37

http://xxxxxxxxxxxx/maia/admin/configtest.php
Gives me adequate results
Configtest.pl = Database DSN test    : PASSED

But when I go to:

http://xxxxxxxxx/maia/login.php

I get : Fatal error: Call to undefined function: fetchrow() in
/usr/local/apache/htdocs/maia/smarty.php on line 110

I checked permissions on the web server as well as php.ini.

Any help would be appreciated.
