On your "Admin->System Configuration" page, do you have anything set in
the "Encryption key file (optional)" field?  If you're not using
encryption, this field should be blank.

An offhand guess is that you may have auto-updated your PHP, and the new
version doesn't have the Mcrypt library support built into it, or you're
missing an Mcrypt module for PHP.  Or perhaps you auto-updated the
Mcrypt library and it no longer matches the module that PHP is loading.

Also, check the page itself.  There are three similarly-named pages:
viewmail.php, view.php, and viewer.php.  Which one is producing this error?
