Yeah - I have looked at this.  Both are set for 20MB.  And the odd thing is, that if I move the messages from the active queue directory from the naughty server to the other server, it will process the same messages without any issues.  So it seems unlikely to me that it's a configuration issue with mysql, but hey - I'm willing to take any fix right now <g>.
 
Just to clarify.  The mysql database resides on the same server that will not properly connect to it.  The server that has no trouble is actually another server.  So I have a sneaking suspicion that one of the modules I upgraded is causing trouble, but that's just a guess since things "changed" on that server and suddenly it stopped working!
