[Maia-users] Japanese

Hi all,

I'm just wondering if anyone has done any work with Maia in
installations where many Japanese emails (both spam and ham) are
received.

I know that I'll have to modify the following:

1) The cache list, to convert the SUBJECT from ISO-2022-JP (the usual
charset for encoding Japanese emails) to SJIS or something (for the
browser to display), and to make sure that characters are not mangled by
the "convert this into an HTML entity" or whatever, and

2) the actual viewmail.php, once again to convert from ISO-2022-JP to
SJIS or something.

I don't care about having the actual interface in Japanese; it just
needs to be able to display Japanese mails properly. And I know that
SpamAssassin needs to be tweaked a bit as well.

Two questions:

1) Can anyone think of anywhere else that I might need to change?
2) Has anyone already done this work? I don't want to duplicate the
effort...

Thanks,
